Anubhav currently manages all product data sciences at Voot, India’s second largest publisher (Viacom18’s) video streaming online platform, and has been spearheading the movement on how billions of data points collected everyday are collectively rewriting the technological rule-books of streaming business and shaping a machine learning driven future for delivery, consumption and monetization of entertainment content. Prior to this, Anubhav worked across industries and product functions for over a decade, leveraging the know-how of data driven models and decisioning in solving real-world problems. He holds a bachelors degree in engineering from IIT Kanpur.

Narrowing the purview of the talk to computer vision, this talk, will while focusing on the examples of consumer video entertainment sector will also delve upon everything that’s right there in the playbook of video intelligence and its far reaching empowerment capabilities. Using a concise framework, we will analyze the world of ML computer vision models and talk about the wise, the ugly and the extreme ones, their ability to tackle business challenges and use case economics.
